Gringa Guacamole

Gringa Guacamole

Ingredients:

2 ripe haas avocados, pit removed (but save 1 pit if you are going to have leftovers)

½ ripe tomato, finely chopped

½ white onion, minced

¼ cup fresh pineapple

1 clove garlic, minced

1 serrano chile, seeds removed and minced

2 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Juice of half a lime

1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt

1 tablespoon lizano sauce (only available if in Costa Rica)

Directions:

  1. Scoop the flesh from the avocado into a bowl and mash together with a fork

  1. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix together the ingredients until you have reached the desired consistency

  1. Serve with carrots, chips, or just eat it by the spoonful

*If you have leftover guacamole, save the pit when storing it and it will prevent it from turning brown
