Radishes are such a versatile vegetable yet they are often over looked. These radiant radishes are a great topper for salads, or easily adds a nice crunch to a salad. Mix it up and bring to your memorial day party!
• 1/2 cup red-wine vinegar
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 2 teaspoons sea salt
• pinch red pepper flakes (depending on the pinch size, they can be spicy)
• 17 medium-sized radishes
To prepare the radishes, wash with cold water and trim the ends. Slice radishes very thinly. In a bowl, wisp together the vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add the radishes and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. The pickled radishes taste best if they are consumed within a few hours. Enjoy these radishes as they radiate your health!
