Cheesy Kale Chips (Vegan)

KALE is never ending in my garden and I have so much growing, I don’t know what to do with it. Instead of making another salad, I decided to make some delicious kale chips with a twist. These chips combine savory and spicy flavors but are also packed with many beneficial nutrients (i.e. vitamins A, C, K) and the B-vitamins in nutritional yeast.

How to make them:

  • 4 cups kale (I used lacinato)
  • 2 tsp. coconut oil
  • 2 TBSP nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp Sriracha Hot sauce (optional)
  •  Salt (to taste)

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Rinse kale (make sure there are no bugs on it) and remove the stems. Tear it into pieces and put in a bowl. Toss the kale with coconut oil and then add the nutritional yeast. Once the oven has preheated, arrange the kale on a baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle with salt. Cook for 15 minutes or until the Kale is Crispy.
